Any idea about medical student loans extension terms?

I have borrowed medical loan of $156,000 from a medical loan lending firm at really very low interest rates. I have to repay this loan after 6 months of completion of my medical studies when I start professional practice. So, now the time has come but since it is my internship period the salary that I get is really very low and it is very hard for me to pay off the medical loans repayment along with my own expenses. So, I was just looking for any medical loan repayment extension plan so that I can get more time to repay the loan amount. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Well, yes there is an extension terms for the doctors and other medical professionals who have borrowed more than $100,000 as their medical student loan. Those professionals are eligible to ask for the extended amount of time so that they can pay off their loan easily without any pressure or burden. Normally under medical student loan the repayment time is of 20 years which can be extended to 30 years under loan extension program. This extension plans is great relief for the medical professionals as it lowers the payment amount and give them the option to pay off more of the principal amount of the loan when their income increases with experience and popularity.
